A clear picture of where you appear right now. Google search, the map results, your website if you have one, your Google listing, your social pages. And just as importantly, where you are missing.
Help local customers find your business when they search.
If people should be finding you on Google, Maps, directories or local searches but are not, this is the right place. I check your Google Business Profile, local SEO basics, online listings, trust signals and the first fixes that make you easier to find and choose.
If local customers cannot find you, they cannot choose you.
Most local customers start by searching. They type in what they need, check the first few results, look at the map, skim a website or two and pick someone. If your business does not show up clearly, or shows up but looks thin, they move on. They do not come back to check again later.
That is how it works on Google. But it is also starting to happen through AI search tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI overviews. People ask a question, the AI pulls together an answer, and if your business is not set up clearly enough, it gets skipped over completely. Most small businesses have not even thought about that yet.
A practical review, not a jargon-heavy report.
I check the things local customers actually notice: whether your services and areas are clear, whether your listing looks active and finished, whether what people find says enough for someone to pick up the phone.
Page titles, service wording, the areas you cover, how people contact you, photos and listing details. Not jargon, just the things that help search engines and customers understand your business.
If your Google listing (the Business Profile that shows in Maps) is claimed but half-finished, out of date, or not showing the services you actually want to win work for, I sort that out.
I also check how your business looks to AI search tools. If the information about you online is unclear or scattered, AI answers will leave you out. I make sure the basics are in place so you do not get skipped.
If you do not have a website, I will tell you honestly whether you need one yet, or whether sorting your Google listing, reviews and online presence would be a better first step.
A prioritised list of what to sort first, starting with the changes most likely to help more of the right people find you and actually get in touch.
Not a vague promise. Not a report full of graphs.
This is not a monthly retainer where someone sends you a report full of graphs and you cannot tell what changed. It is not "SEO" (search engine optimisation) sold as a vague promise. It is a practical look at why the right customers are not finding you, on Google, on the map, and increasingly through AI, followed by clear priorities you can understand. The work is based on your actual business, your services, your area and what your competitors are doing. Not a template.
This is useful if any of these sound familiar.
- Competitors show up on Google and the map results more than you do.
- You have a Google listing but it feels unfinished or forgotten.
- You have a website but local enquiries are weak or patchy.
- You do not have a website and are not sure what you actually need to get started.
- You are not sure whether the problem is your website, your Google listing, your reviews, or something else.
- You want someone to explain what is actually wrong in plain English, not send you a report you cannot make sense of.
- You have paid someone to help with online visibility before and could not tell what it did.
A simple process, explained before you commit.
1 Tell me what you want to be found for
Send a website link if you have one. That is enough to start.
2 I check where the gaps are
Google search, the map, your website, your listing, AI search, and what your local competitors are doing that you are not.
3 You get clear priorities
Focused on the changes most likely to get you found by the right local customers.
4 You decide what to act on
I can do the fixes, or you can take the priorities and work through them. No lock-in either way.
Help me get found by the right customers
Tell me what you want to be found for and send a website link if you have one. I will give you a plain-English view of where you show up, where you are missing, and what to fix first.
